Schedules and meeting points: Belize transfers and shuttles
- San Ignacio → Belize City / Bacalar / Chetumal: departs 9:00 AM, pickup between 9–10 AM at Hodes Place Restaurant.
- San Ignacio → Flores: departs 2:00 PM, pickup between 2–3 PM at Hodes Place Restaurant.
- Belize City → Flores / Bacalar / Chetumal: departs 12:00 PM (noon), pickup at Caribbean Charm Shop, San Pedro Express Ferry Terminal, 111 North Front St, Belize City.
- Maximum wait time at borders: 15 minutes. If there’s an immigration interview or extra processing, the shuttle continues on its scheduled route.

Before you travel: what to know
- Travel time: Flores to Belize City takes about 5 hours. To Chetumal or Bacalar it is around 10 hours, changing buses in Belize City.
- Meeting point in Flores: the Getaway Travels office or the “Yo Amo Petén” sign.
- Meeting point in Belize City: San Pedro Express Ferry Port, Caribbean Charm Shop, 111 North Front St. Departs at 12:00 noon for Flores.
- Ferry tickets: valid for 90 days, any day and any departure. Be at the pier 15 minutes before departure.
- Exit border to Mexico: Corozal, Belize.
- Belize exit tax: USD$20 per person, not included in the transfer price.
- Waiting time between borders: 15 minutes maximum. If there is an immigration interview or extra paperwork, the vehicle continues its route.
